The Gift#039; to be presented by Southside Baptist Dec. 8 – 9

Southside Baptist Church of Greenville will be having a huge Christmas celebration this year, as they perform &uot;The Gift&uot; December 8 – 9.
The program, which will consist of Christmas carols, lights and multimedia, will be presented in the new state-of-the-art worship center.
David Kelly, minister of worship at Southside Baptist, said the program &uot;will be absolutely fantastic.&uot;
The program will be presented December 8 at 7 p.m. and December 9 at 6 p.m. and will include dozens of individuals who will recreate Jesus' birth. Kelly said dozens of volunteers and several of hours were put into producing the program and getting ready for the performance.
&uot;I would put The Gift' on a par with pageants done in much larger cities,&uot; Kelly said. &uot;We hope everyone can come and enjoy Christmas with us.&uot;
Southside Baptist Church is located at 211 King Street, near the water tower, just south of the Commerce Street and Highway 10 intersection, about two miles from I-65, exit 133.
