Last week, the Greenville Police Department and Butler County Sheriff's department cooperated in bringing Demetrius Currine Carter in to custody, and bringing formal murder charges against him.

We applaud their cooperative efforts and results.

Stones are regularly thrown at the labors of both agencies and sometimes we need to pause and appreciate what they do.

Lots of things are to blame for our society being filled with crime and criminals.

Blaming those that have pledged their careers to protect us accomplishes nothing.

Instead of criticizing and complaining about everything these agencies do or attempt to do, how about giving them a hand.
