Recently, we had car trouble while driving through Luverne. While waiting for AAA service on Woodford Avenue, countless people including Chris, the waste truck driver, city employees, Hicks employees and others stopped to offer help. We received offers to call the local auto shop, water, a push, a ride and air conditioning (Hicks.)

Then a gentleman from the auto shop came by, diagnosed the problem and got us on our way. He refused any compensation.
