Alabama business to be featured on Dirty Jobs
Mike Rowe is traveling to Alabama to work as a shipbuilder in Sunday’s new episode of Dirty Jobs.
The episode will cover the ins-and-outs of building a work boat with the craftsmen and shipbuilders of Master Boat Builders.
Throughout the episode, Rowe will highlight the importance of tugboats. In doing so he will demonstrate how crucial they are to ensure container ships can unload.
Master Boat Builders started in 1979 by father-son duo James and Michael Rice following the destruction of their seafood shop caused by Hurricane Frederic.
They quickly went from a small business venture into an internationally recognized work boat business.
In the past 30 years they have built and delivered approximately 430 vessels to customers all over the world,
The new episode will air on Discovery and streaming on Discovery Plus this Sunday, January 16, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
