Greenville-The American Heart Association is holding its annual "Cardiac Arrest" Wednesday at the Courthouse Annex from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Proceeds from this event will fund cardiovascular research and education.

REF Alabama, Inc. is the "Lockdown Sponsor" for this event, providing tee shirts to each of the participants.

Pioneer Electric Cooperative is also helping to underwrite the cost of the event by contributing as the "Arraignment" sponsor.

Arrestees will be guaranteed a lot of laughs as they enter the courtroom of "Judge Heartless", who is again being portrayed by Ralph Stacey.

After appearing before the bench, arrestees will receive a light lunch instead of the traditional menu of bread and water.

Lunch is being provided by Arby's, Subway, Super Foods and Winn Dixie.
