"The original APT program covers business and economics. From plant closings to new business startups, Alabama @ Work includes in-depth coverage of business news, tips to help people improve their finances, and profiles on Alabama entrepreneurs. In the future, Alabama @ Work looks to add more market information and to continue to tell the stories of the people and places that make up the complete picture of Alabama's economy."

"This is one more way that industry in the Butler County area is getting recognized," said Ricky McLaney, director of the Butler County Economic Development Commission (BCEDC). "We finished taping at Image Entry Monday evening-I'm just so proud that another of our businesses is getting recognized."

McLaney said recognition further shows the high quality of Butler County workers.

"Every business that has come to Butler County has said it was the quality of the workforce that attracted them to the area," he said.

Friday Apr. 13 at 6 p.m. is the original airdate scheduled for this edition of Alabama @ Work, although it will be aired several times during the month.

Image Entry, this week's feature of the "Alabama's Own" segment of the show looks at the data processing company hired to process Alabama's state income tax returns.
