This week it was announced that two of our school principals have given their resignations and will be moving on to the next phase of their

lives.

Being a school principal, or any staff member in an educational facility, is one of the hardest jobs today. School children are faced with so many issues that past generations have not had to endure.

Because of that, it takes patience and genuine concern on a day-to-day basis to aid in the tudents' learning process, both educational and emotional. Many times, these teachers and staff members feel as if their students are their own, which adds to both the joy and heartache of raising children.

And much like a parent, many teachers have said in the long run, it is worth it, especially when a past student comes back to give thanks for the attention and recognition he or she received in the growing process.

The Butler County School System has an excellent educational system, and each and every principal has commented that it is due to the dedication and willingness of teachers and staff. It takes patience and hard work to help children grow, and every educator in Butler County should be commended for their efforts.
