It's "do or die" time for the Greenville High School Tigers when they take on Wilcox Central Friday night at Tiger Stadium.

GHS Head Coach Alvin Briggs says his game plan is simple; he plans to beat Wilcox Central.

"Hopefully, we've solved our turnover problems that hurt us last week," Briggs Said. "We are working a lot this week on fumble drills and live contact, so the team should do much better. Luckily, our team stayed healthy last week, so we'll have everyone for the Wilcox game."

For the Tigers, this game is a must-win situation since it's their last chance to make it to the regional playoffs. GHS and Wilcox are tied for fourth place in the regional standings, so the winner takes the fourth and final playoff spot.

Although Briggs doesn't think it will be easy, he still thinks his team will emerge on top.

"Wilcox Central is a young team, just like us," he said. "But they have a good quarterback-running back combination that we are going to have to control. This is our critical game in making it to the playoffs, so we are going to have to play our best. We are ready to do that.
