Volunteers are needed to pack boxes for the Operation Christmas Child shoe box ministry at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center from Nov.15-20. Hours are 1-5 p.m. Mon. thru Fri. and 9 a.m. – noon Saturday. Strong workers and good-sized trucks are also needed to pack for shipment to Montgomery on Sun., Nov. 21. Nov. 20

A yard sale sponsored by the Mckenzie Quarterback Club will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20, on the front lawn of McKenzie High School. The sale will begin at 7 a.m. until noon.

The City of Greenville’s Annual Christmas Parade is slated for Thursday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. with the theme of &uot;Hometown Holiday Celebration&uot;. Greenville native Beth Killough Chapman, state auditor, will be Grand Marshal. Applications for entries are available at the C of C office or call 382-3251 for more information.

The Town of McKenzie Christmas Parade is Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. For more information, call the town hall at 374-2311.
