This CH-47 Chinook Helicopter from Fort Rucker became the first such aircraft to land at Brantley's Helispec helicopter

refurbishing plant for repair and painting. The CH-47 is a twin-engine, tandem rotor helicopter designed for transportation of cargo, troops, and weapons. Members of the Brantley Volunteer Fire Department and the town's police department were on-hand in case of an emergency.
