Descendants of George Washington Beauregard and Mary Jane Coker Turner met for their annual family reunion Sunday, February 22, 2009 at the Luverne Shriner’s Club.

A table covered with a multi-colored patchwork tablecloth was placed near the entrance to hold the registration book. Approximately 50 family members registered and put their name in a basket for door prizes. Welcome banners were placed around the wall of the room and on the buffet table.

The long buffet table, covered in white, held several arrangements of various-colored camellias and yellow daffodils. Each dining table was covered in yellow tablecloths and centered with ivy and double-sided cards. The dining tables were decorated with many arrangements of spring flowers. The attendees to the Turner Reunion were blessed by the beautifully decorated tables and flower arrangements prepared by Tommy Capps and Anne Foster.
