Sarah Stough Hoffman

HOFFMAN, Mrs. Sarah Stough, 91, a resident of Highland Home, died Monday, September 7, 2009. Graveside services were held Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 3 p.m. at Rocky Mount Cemetery with Minister Dean Kelley officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Hoffman was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Hoffman; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Oscar Fleshman; daughter-in-law, Diane Hoffman; grandson, Scott Hoffman; two sisters, Lena Thomas and Doris McLendon; and a brother, Floyd Sharp. Survivors include five children, Judy (Paul) Best of Honoraville, Ronny (Charlotte) Hoffman of Atmore, Larry (Mary Jo) Hoffman of Luverne, Francis Hoffman of Lapine and Allen Hoffman of Highland Home; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great- grandchildren; sister, Sue Davis of Montgomery ; and a brother, Dan “ Buddy” Stough of Clarkston, MI.

Active pallbearers were Steven Hoffman, Ron Hoffman, John Hoffman, Brandon Walters, Justin Walters and Will Stoll.
