Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Honoraville for Louis Oscar Perdue III, 44, who passed away at home on Monday, June 3, from kidney failure. Burial will follow at Perdue Family Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Leverette will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. before the funeral.
Louis was full of life and enjoyed being with people. He was always willing to help anyone. He loved his job at UPS.
His paternal grandparents, Louis and Rosalie Perdue; his maternal grandparents, Effie and James Cook and Clifford Hood; his uncles, Steve Perdue and Joe Senn, and aunt, Elloise Powell, preceded Mr. Perdue in death.
Survivors include his parents, Louis “Duke” and Carol Perdue; sons, Tyler and Eli Perdue; brother, Randall “Randy” Perdue; nieces, Alysa and Bailey Perdue; aunts, Virginia Perdue, Annice “Sunny” Senn, Peggy (Gene) Bush, Arlene Gridley and Lisa Wynne, and many other family members that loved him.
Pallbearers will be Brian Sellers, William “Stevie” Perdue, Caleb Glass, David Stephenson, Zachary Smith and Stephen Hays.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Perdue Cemetery in Honoraville, Spring Creek Baptist Church in Honoraville or to Bethel United Methodist Church in Fort Deposit, would be appreciated.
