Mary Avery Keen followed with two more goals in the first half.  One of those was a successful penalty kick. At the end of the first half, the Eagles were ahead 3-0.

The second half continued with goals by Viktoria Little, Grayson McCall, Madison Langford, Christian Davis and Quinn O’Connor.

The Fort Dale goalie, Abigail Matthews successfully blocked a penalty kick late in the second half to spoil the Warriors chance at scoring.

Coach Wildermuth got a chance to let some younger players get on the field and they were able to score, and the senior players said that one of the highlights of the game for them was seeing the younger players get the experience and score.

Jacob Till struck first on a pass from Charlie Cox and started the Eagles down the road to a win of 6-0 over the Emanuel Christian Warriors in the boys’ game.

Other goals were made by Spencer Jackson, Sam Winters and Brice Acreman.
