A single-vehicle crash Sunday, Nov. 20, claimed two lives. 

Escalnte Jorge, 40, of Charlotte, N.C., and Joel Antonio Ocado Alvarado, 26, of Lake Plaza, Fla., were killed when the 2000 GMC Yukon in which they were passengers overturned in the roadway. 

Both individuals, neither of whom were using a seat belt, were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. 

The crash occurred at 3:12 p.m. on Interstate 65 near the 123 mile marker, two miles south of Greenville. 

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
