The Fort Dale Academy Eagles junior varsity team handed Autauga Academy a sound 12-4 loss Thursday at Macon-East in five innings.

The Eagles were relentless from the very outset, taking the lead with three runs in the first on an RBI single from Braxton Daniels.

Once firmly in the driver’s seat, the Eagles steered for the remainder of the contest.

Fort Dale poured it on thick in the fourth with another pair of runs as a single from Trip Richardson reignited the Eagles offense once more.

The Eagles posted five runs in the fifth inning alone on a hit by pitch, a walk by Tucker Neven and a walk with bases loaded.

A sacrifice fly from Daniels and a single RBI courtesy of Richardson rounded out the late-game spree, and put the game well out of reach.

Meanwhile, pitching ace Jason Little commanded the afternoon from the mound, allowing only two runs during a three-inning stretch.
