Eagles drop second in a row

Fort Dale Academy dropped it second game in a row with a 59-46 loss to Crenshaw Christian Academy Monday night in Luverne.
The Cougars, who led throughout the contest, connected on 58 percent of their shots from the field and were 6-for-10 from beyond the arc in the win.
The Eagles (3-2) made just 37 percent of their shots and were outrebounded 28-18.
Chip Taylor led Fort Dale with 21 points and five rebounds. Taylor was also 2-for-3 from behind the arc.
Ryan Burkett added eight points. Burkett was 2-for-5 from beyond the arc.
Taylor Thomas chipped in six points and Hayden Davis added four points for the Eagles.
Michael Padalino scored three points and Hudson Branum and John Coleman Poole each scored two points in the loss.
