McKenzie’s Bailey O’Ferrell, the Alabama High School Rodeo Association girls’ cutting champion and all-around cowgirl, will compete in the 65th annual National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR) in Rock Springs, Wyo. The rodeo began Sunday and will come to a close on Saturday. O’Ferrell, the daughter of Junior and Stacey O’Ferrell, will compete in cutting, barrel racing, poles bending, goat tying and team roping competitions. The NHSFR will feature more than 1,500 contestants from 41 states, five Canadian provinces and Australia.
