Lady Eagles dominate Lady Cougars

It took four days, but the Fort Dale Academy girls tennis team won its match with Crenshaw Christian Academy in Luverne.

The match began March 5, but rains forced the match to be postponed until Friday. The Lady Eagles went on to win the match 7-0.

The Eagles weren’t as fortunate.

Crenshaw Christian defeated the Eagles 3-4.

No. 2 seed:  Ashton Scott defeated Emilee Speed 8-0

No. 3 seed:  Marion Lightfoot defeated Shelby Williams 8-0

No. 4 seed:  Mary Claire Carlton defeated Kathryn Williams 8-0

No. 5 seed:  Madison Ann Gaston defeated Savannah Sexton 8-0

No. 8 seed:  Jennifer Grace Arnold defeated Arin McLeod 8-2
