McKenzie School’s Kayla Shufford scored 12 points to power the Lady Tigers to a 46-19 win over Excel High School.

The Lady Tigers (1-0) dominated from start to finish.

“We got off to a good start,” McKenzie head coach Ezell Powell said. “We played very well defensively as a team, and I was pleased with our effort overall. We have some things we need to work on, but for a first game I was pleased.”

Daisy Womack and LaToya Womack each scored eight points and Brittany Gard scored seven points in the win.
