Adrenaline slips past Dirt Divas

Nakayla Moorer and Cortnee Meyers put up two hits and two runs apiece to power the Adrenaline to a 10-8 victory against the Dirt Divas May 30.  Amber Bedgood had two hits and two runs scored for the Dirt Divas.

Heartbreakers 12, Kaos 4

Tankevia Durant, AJ Sanford, Daizia Womack and Caitlyn Tarmene each had two hits and two runs scored in a clear victory over Kaos.  Takira Walker had a hit and scored a run for Kaos.

Adrenaline 9, Kaos 8

Despite Takira Walker’s two hits and two runs for Kaos, Adrenaline edged out a narrow victory over Kaos with the help of Cortnee Meyers’ three hits and three runs.

Heartbreakers 14, Dirt Divas 4

The Heartbreakers’ Tankevia Durant, Kristin Lassiter, and Daizia Womack all contributed two hits and two runs and Ashley Ballard led with three hits and three runs in a runaway victory over the Dirt Divas.  Daishia Durant had two hits and scored two runs for the Dirt Divas.

Diamond Divas 9, Diamond Dolls 2

The Divas proved more solid than the Dolls in a decisive 9-2 win Wednesday.  Hanna Clair Till and Anna Blake Langford led the Divas with two hits and two runs each.  Kami Shufford hat one hit and one run for the Dolls.

Rebels 14, Knockouts 2

The Rebels celebrated a big win over the Knockouts due in no small part to the efforts of Ashley Brugden and Alex Merry.  They had three runs apiece, outscoring the Knockouts by themselves.  Hannah Schofield had two hits and scored a run for the Knockouts.

Dixie Youth 

Rays 9, White Sox 1

Jason Little led the Rays with two wins and three runs scored in a clear victory over the White Sox.  Sullivan Harold prevented a shutout with a hit and a run scored for the White Sox.

Marlins 12, Rangers 2

A pair of runs scored from Zack Winters and five RBIs from Cole English helped the Marlins trump the Rangers in convincing fashion.  DeAnthony Moss had a hit and a run scored for the Rangers.

Rays 14, Marlins 0

Pitcher Jason Little led the Rays to a shutout over the Marlins.  Ryan Furr, Luke Taylor, Braxton Daniels, and Carter Boswell all contributed two runs each.

White Sox 2, Red Sox 1

Douglas Crews came through with two clutch hits and a run for the White Sox to edge out a close win over the Red Sox.  Brian Fold delivered a hit and a run scored for the Red Sox.

White Sox 9, Rangers 1

Douglas Crews and Ryan Davis combined for four runs to help the White Sox cruise to a 9-1 victory over the Rangers.  Logan Hornsby scored a run for the Rangers.

Red Sox 4, Rays 2

Luke Taylor of the Rays had two hits and two runs to outscore any other player in the game, but runs scored by Sawyer Hennis, Baker Bozeman, Trevor Langford, and Jamil Thompson carried the Red Sox to a 4-2 win.

Dixie Boys

Cardinals 4, Rays 3

The Cardinals’ pitcher Tanner Cartwright, Mason Keen, Brandon White, and Joseph Price all scored a run each to put away the Rays 4-3.  Chris Shufford had two hits and a run scored for the Rays.

Cardinals 8, Rays 2

Joseph Price managed two RBIs and two home runs for the Cardinals in round two versus the Rays to win in convincing fashion 8-2.  Chris Shufford managed a hit and a run for the Rays.

Cardinals 12, Rays 5

A new day meant a fresh chance at redemption for the Rays.  Chris Shufford had a hit and a run scored along with Austin Vickery’s hit and two runs.  However, their combined efforts weren’t enough to stop the Cardinals’ offensive onslaught.  Joseph Prince pounded out three hits and two runs scored, Brandon White recorded two hits for three runs scored, and Clay McMeans added two hits and two runs scored in the Cardinals’ 12-5 victory.

Cardinals 6, Rays 5

William Sherling and Chris Shufford tried to keep the Rays in the game with a hit and two runs scored apiece, but the Cardinals once again proved too much.  Joseph Price, Mason Keen, and Brandon White scored six runs among three hits to edge out a 6-5 victory.

Dixie Minor

Rangers 13, Cardinals 3

Chandler Smith led the Rangers to a 13-3 win as he slugged out two huge home runs.  DeMarcus Smith had a hit and a run scored for the Cardinals while Deago Martin contributed two runs scored.

Rays 7, Braves 6

Tyron Ingram and Owens McCullough delivered two home runs for the Rays in a narrow 7-6 victory over the Braves.  Jaron Arceman and Taylor Fraze also scored a home run apiece for the Braves.

Cupcake 

Lady Katz 16, Riptides 0

Samaya Riley and BreAnna Rhodes led the Lady Katz with an impressive offensive display, contributing a grand slam and 5 RBIs respectively.  Kinley Woodard had two hits for the Riptides.

Mite

Red Sox 6, Diamondbacks 3

Nate Barrow and Chase Blackmon took charge for the Red Sox with two hits and two runs each in a win over the Diamondbacks.

Braves 6, Indians 5

Despite a home run from Indian Noah Pickens, the Braves managed to rally for a close 6-5 win.  Ethan Weed led the Braves with two hits and three runs scored.

Dodgers 8, White Sox 2

Javoris Boggan’s two RBIs and two home runs, coupled with Isaiah Zorn’s two RBIs and one home run, put the Dodgers a little too far ahead for the White Sox to overcome.  Christian Simmons had two hits and a run scored for the White Sox.
