The Alabama Bureau of Investigation announced Tuesday night that it is assisting the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation of an apparent homicide.

Due to the sensitivity of the investigation, no other information will be released at this time, according to Robyn Bradley Litchfield of Alabama Department of Public Safety.
