The 5th annual Georgiana High School Summer Youth Basketball Camp is scheduled for June 4-6.

Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 1A Coach of the Year Kirk Norris will lead the camp, and the proceeds will benefit the Georgiana High School basketball program.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 8-14 and will begin at 8 a.m. each day and end at noon.

It will focus on fundamental basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. The camp will also feature daily competitions in games such as Gotcha, hot shot and free throws. Campers will also compete in 5-on-5 games.

The cost to attend the camp is $25 and includes a T-shirt.

The deadline to register is May 24.
