Red Level High School edged Georgiana School 5-3 on Monday in Georgiana.

Derrick Blackburn and Richard Boggan paced the Panthers’ offensive attack. Blackburn was 3-for-4, while Boggan was 2-for-3 at the plate.

Shaun Giddens and Matt Sheffield each drove in a run for Georgiana.

Giddens suffered the loss on the mound for the Panthers. He tossed 3 and two-thirds innings allowing three hits, a walk and three runs.

Georgiana will be back in action Friday when it plays host to Calhoun High School. First pitch is slated for 3:30 p.m.
