Runs haven’t come easy for Fort Dale Academy this season. That wasn’t the case on Monday.

FDA plated runs in bunches en route to an 11-3 win against Sparta Academy at the FDA Sportsplex.

“I think this is the best game we have had (offensively),” Anderson said. “All of our players were on a good streak – not just a few.”

Anderson was also pleased with the performance of her defense, and particularly the play of hurler Hannah Johnson.

“All of my players came through for me,” she said. “Hannah did a wonderful job. She is working through a groin injury, so I was very proud of the she played.”

FDA (2-14) will be back in action Friday when it takes on Glenwood in a doubleheader. First pitch is set for noon at the FDA Sportsplex.
