Fort Dale Academy cruised to a 7-3 win against Crenshaw Christian Academy Tuesday in its opener.

“(The game) was full of nerves and excitement,” Fort Dale head coach Scarlett Anderson said. “I was pleased overall with their performance.”

Anderson said the Lady Eagles (1-0) struggled defensively at times on Tuesday, but that the offense was able to make up for the miscues in the field.

“We had some trouble but we made up for it when it counted,” she said.
