Georgiana School’s march toward a title will continue.

The Panthers (22-8) defeated Pleasant Home High School 51-41 Friday night in a sub-region showdown at Pleasant Home.

Lee Curry led Georgiana’s attack with 13 points. Keon Binion and Rickey Everett each added 10 points in the win.

Lance Davis paced Pleasant Home (20-8) with 12 points, while Josh O’Neal added 10.

With the win, Georgiana advances to the South Region Tournament in Mobile at the University of South Alabama. The Panthers will take on Linden High School at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at USA’s Mitchell Center.
