After a sluggish start that saw the Lady Eagles score just four points in the opening eight minutes of play, Fort Dale erupted for 15 points in the second period, while holding the Lady Knights to just three points. The second-period surge gave Fort Dale a 19-5 advantage heading into the break.

The Lady Knights managed to score 10 points in the third period, but 12 points by the Lady Eagles kept the gap at double digits and all but sealed the win as NMA would score just four points in the closing period, while the Lady Eagles posted nine points.
