Fort Dale looking to snap skid

It’s been nine years since Fort Dale Academy has lost three games in a row.
The Eagles (4-5), who have dropped back-to-back decisions to Clarke Prep and Escambia Academy in the last two weeks, will have to knock off the state’s top team to avoid their first three-game skid in nearly a decade.
Fort Dale will host undefeated Edgewood Academy Thursday night.
The Wildcats’ latest win came Friday night when it blasted Glenwood School 48-24 in Phenix City.
Sam Coleman led the charge for Edgewood (9-0) scoring seven touchdowns. Coleman threw three touchdown passes, ran for two and was on the receiving end of two more.
Kickoff for Thursday’s game is set for 7 p.m.
