Eagles recognize football coach, cheer, dance

Fort Dale Academy recognized football coach James “Speed” Sampley for reaching 100 wins with the program with an on-field presentation Friday night just before kickoff of the Eagles game against Pike Liberal Arts.
“He has made an impact on many, many lives here and is such a valuable part of what we try to do,” said headmaster David Brantley. “We are fortunate that he is a part of our Fort Dale family.”

Fort Dale Academy recognized its varsity cheerleaders for winning the AISA Class AAA state championship at halftime of Friday's game. Varsity sponsor is Marianne Russell.
