The Greenville Parks and Recreation Department will host a pair of Dixie Softball all-star tournaments.

Greenville will serve as the site for the Dixie Ponytails and Dixie Belles sub-district tournaments.

Greenville, Zion Chapel and Crenshaw County will compete in the Dixie Ponytails double-elimination tournament. Greenville will open tournament play against Zion Chapel Friday at 6 p.m., and will face Crenshaw County at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The Dixie Belles tournament will feature Greenville, Opp, Crenshaw County and Zion Chapel. Greenville will open the double-elimination tournament against Opp Friday at 8 p.m.

Greenville will also have teams competing in the Dixie Darlings sub-district tournament in Zion Chapel and the Dixie Angels sub-district tournament in Opp.

Greenville’s Dixie Darlings squad will open play against Crenshaw County at 6 p.m. Thursday, while the Dixie Angels will face off with Zion Chapel at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Both tournaments will follow double-elimination format.
