Things got ugly quick for the Georgiana Panthers on Friday. Visiting Brantley claimed the decisive victory, 54-6.

Coach Shawn Gregory had little to say about the game.

“We didn’t start off like we were in a football game,” Gregory said. “They seemed like they were in a daze.”

The panthers did manage to pick up 6 points when Devin Bonner found Ricky Everett for a 9-yard touchdown. The point after was blocked.

“I have never seen that look in my player’s eyes before, so I learned a lot tonight,” Gregory said. “All we can do is take a break and try to rebound from it.”

Devin Bonner completed 7 out of 25 passes for 109 yards and one touchdown. Bonner was intercepted 3 times.

Adrian Rich led the Panthers in receiving, picking up 36 yards off one reception. Ricky Everett picked up 35 yards on 3 receptions.

De’Kendre Binion picked up the majority of the Panther’s rushing yards, with 18 carries for 105 yards. Quarterback Devin Bonner rushed for 9 yards on 9 carries.
