Gray wins second junior tourney at Cambrian

Cammie Gray of Tuscaloosa claimed the Female 15-19 Division of the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour’s 2010 Cambrian Ridge Junior Classic. The field of 60 males and females competed on the Sherling and Canyon nines during the event. Cammie had rounds of 79 and 80.
This is Cammie’s second consecutive victory on the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour. In August, she won the Brad Willis Memorial Tournament held at Wynlakes in Montgomery.
This summer, Cammie qualified for and played in the U.S. Junior Championship held in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Cammie has strong ties to Greenville and Butler County. She is the great great granddaughter of Dr. L.V. Stabler, the great granddaughter of Dr. E. Vernon Stabler, Sr. and the granddaughter of Shannon (Stabler) Linden.
Greenville’s Cam Norman shot an 86 in Round 1 and an 84 in Round 2 in the Male 16-19 group and finished 15th overall.
