McKenzie is coming off a 46-0 beating of Pleasant Home and now turns its attention to J.F. Shields, a team the Tigers beat 28-6 in a spring jamboree.

However, Tigers head coach Miles Brown said he believes J.F. Shields has improved since that game.

“They’re a very fast defensive football team,” said Brown. “They’re a lot better than when we played them in the spring. They played in the spread then, but now they’re running some more power stuff.”
