Central Office staff undergoing reorganization of duties

Following approval by the Butler County Board of Education, a re-organization of duties is taking place within the Central Office staff. Amy Bryan has been assigned additional duties as Federal Program Coordinator; Kathy Atchison, secretary of Bright Beginings/Preschool/Special Education Services, is being reclassified from school secretary to Central Office secretary, having served in this capacity for two years. Emma Bailey is being reclassified from CNP bookkeeper to Transportation/Maintenance secretary. There will be no salary change; she has served in this capacity for the past three years. Linda Perdue has been reclassified from CNP Lead Manager to CNP Lead Manager/CNP bookkeeper, having served in this capacity for three years.

Other personnel changes approved by the BOE are as follows:

*Leave of Absence -Terry Cook, Special Education Services aide, Greenville High School (medical leave for 2010-2011 school year).

*Employment-Tyrone Bedgood, bus driver, Transportation Department; Dorothy Brodgen, school nurse (LPN/Special Services Department ) system-wide; Sheena Thornton, elementary teacher, Georgiana School; Michael Shows, instructional aide, Georgiana School; Marsha Blankinchip, part-time elementary teacher, W. O. Parmer Elementary School, and Cincrystal Poythress, assistant principal, Greenville High School.
