Hunter Armstrong (6-3, 195) of Fort Dale Academy and Emmanuel Johnson (5-10, 175) of McKenzie have both been added to the Rivals.com database as potential college prospects.
Rivals.com is a website that follows college football recruiting.
Armstrong is a rising senior quarterback for the Eagles, while Johnson is a multi-purpose athlete who projects as defensive back in college.
Johnson has a scholarship offer from Southern Miss University.
Also former Greenville Tiger and defensive tackle Jamontay Pilson (6-2, 280), now attending Northwest Mississippi Community College, is also listed as prospect for the Class of 2011. As a freshman at Northwest Mississippi, Pilson had 28 unassisted tackles, was in on 50 total tackles, and had two sacks.
Pilson was a four star recruit out of high school in 2009 and originally declared his intent to sign with Auburn before signing with Northwest Mississippi because of academics.
Pilson’s teammate while at Greenville, Kenneth Carter (6-5, 267), is in Auburn and will participate in fall practice in August.
Carter was ranked the state’s eighth best prospect by Rivals.com in 2010 and was a four-star defensive lineman.
