Brantley FFA team wins district
The Brantley FFA land judging team placed first in the district competition on April 8 in Conecuh County.
Team members were Caleb Petty, who also had the top score in the district with 235 out of a possible 240 points, Chris Bass, Samantha Rayborn, Deuce Donaldson and Zach Hudgens.
The competition requires students to make management decisions based on soil types and uses of the soil.
The team will represent the South District in the state competition on April 16 in Lineville.
