Actor Will Stutts gave a performance of “Mark Twain’s America” to guests at the Dei Center on Tuesday night.

The one-man show, featuring Stutts as the legendary author, was the culmination of Alabama’s Big Read in Crenshaw County, during which residents were encouraged to read Twain’s “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.”

More performances are scheduled for Wednesday morning for local seventh grade students and the Luverne Senior Center.
