The Greenville Tigers dramatic run through the postseason came to an end on Friday afternoon. LeFlore beat GHS 80-63 in the Class 5A South Regional Championship game held at the University of South Alabama’s Mitchell Center.
The Rattlers led just 12-9 after the first period but roared to life in the second period of play, outscoring Greenville 24-9 to take a commanding 36-18 halftime lead.
LeFlore moves on to play in the Class 5A Final Four in Birmingham.

Greenville was led by Nick McHenry’s 21 points, while Jamie Williams scored 14, Za’Darius Smith added 12 and Brentley Hill scored 11.
