Rockin’ enrollment at HHS
Highland Home Principal Joseph Eiland rocked away the day Monday, Nov. 16, fulfilling a promise he made earlier to parents and students.
Eiland and the Highland Home School PTA had an agreement that if 150 people came to the PTA meeting and 75 members joined, he would sit on the roof all day in his pajamas and rock in a rocking chair.
Eiland has kept his word as the P.T.A. enrollment is “rocking” along and rising just as he wished.
However, as the day went on and the temperature began to rise, the Highland Home principal had to shed his pajama bottoms for some more comfortable shorts.
