Aggies out-man YMCA Midgets
Despite fighting hard for four quarters, the Greenville YMCA Midget Tigers fell to the Evergreen Aggies 28-0.
“They had us out-sized and out-manned,” said coach Chris Stinson. “They showed up and did everything they were taught, and everything we practiced. They played with 120 percent effort, and that’s all I’ve ever asked.”
The game against Evergreen was the final game of the season because the Midget division doesn’t have playoffs.
Stinson said the whole team’s effort was a great way to end the year and start preparing for next season.
“They played with the heart of a lion, and it’s been a great season,” he said. “I enjoyed the whole year, and I think the kids did too. We all got a lot out of it.”
