Tiny Mites lose close game to Evergreen
The Greenville Tiny Mites lost a hard-fought game 7-6 in Evergreen last Saturday.
The first half of the game against the Jaguars was scoreless, but Javion Posey broke the stalemate in the third quarter with a five-yard run.
Early in the fourth quarter, Evergreen scored an answering touchdown and was able to convert the extra point to make the score 7-6.
Posey was also a leader for the stand-out defense, providing several big stops.
“I was proud of how we played, and it was a great game that went down to the wire,” said head coach Jason Posey.
