The Fort Dale junior varsity team pulled out a tough 6-0 win over rival Morgan Tuesday night in Selma.
The Eagles racked up 230 yards of offense, but only had six points to show for it.
“We moved the ball well, but we just bogged down in the red zone,” said head coach William Johnson.
FDA’s lone score came on a 40-yard run by Ryan Taylor in the second quarter.
Taylor ended the game with 17 carries for 121 yards.
Dylan Jones had a big night for the defense, recording six tackles and three sacks.
The Eagles had several players go down due to injuries, and that’s a concern before next week’s home game against Monroe.
“Right now we need to get healthy, because that’s one of our biggest obstacles right now,” Johnson said.
