Next week, Greenville fans will get a chance to get their first home look at the GHS volleyball team.

Last year was the first year of the program, and this year’s team has many returning players from that inaugural team.

In fact, only four players graduated.

“We’ve got most of them back from last year,” said assistant coach Kelly Nielsen. “We’re looking to take that experience and build on it this year.”

The Tigers have taken to the court three times this season, and all three games resulted in losses.

However, Nielsen said the upcoming match will be different.

“We’re going to win on Tuesday,” she said.

The Tigers will play host to Carver next Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in the gym.
