For the second week in a row, the Greenville Tigers wrapped up the week’s practice with a scrimmage.
That game was the first event in a long night for the Tigers, who had a lock-in for the team in the practice facility to help build a sense of team.
The event capped off what Ben Blackmon called a good week of practice.
“Early on we had a lot of bangs and bruises, but those are healing up so it’s time to start finding out what kind of football team we’re going to have,” Blackmon said.
The start of the season is only two weeks away, and next week the Tigers will be traveling to Luverne to play in a jamboree with Luverne and Daleville.
“We’re not worried about the other teams,” Blackmon said. “We’re just going to keep preparing for Greenville and getting us better. We’ve still got a lot of work to do for us before then.”
