Thomas Leon Bradley

BRADLEY, Mr. Thomas Leon, 77, a resident of Hiawassee, GA and formerly of Goshen died Saturday, July 25, 2009 after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. W.O. Sanders officiating. Interment followed in Hillcrest Cemetery in Goshen with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Bradley was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Minnie Lee Bradley and a brother, Homer Bradley. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Murlene Hurley Bradley; two daughters, Mildred (Leonard) Poole and Sherry Bradley; one granddaughter, Heather Poole; and a brother, James Bradley. Active pallbearers were Mike Thomas, Leon Flowers, Larry Snyder, Billy Smith, Edward Barnett and Michael Sanders.

Bobby Ray Eiland

EILAND, Mr. Bobby Ray, 65, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, died Sunday, July 26, 2009. Graveside funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 11 a.m. in Providence Cemetery, Glenwood, Alabama, with Rev. Cliff Stever and Rev. Chuck Francisco officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Eiland was preceded in death by his grandson, Adam Lee Hall and his parents, Ralph and Audrey Emma Eiland. He is survived by two children, Terri (Joey) Hall and Kenny Eiland; two grandchildren, Andrew and David Hall; and one brother, Charles (Sue) Eiland.

Barbara Ann Brooks

BROOKS, Ms. Barbara Ann, 66, a resident of Luverne, died suddenly Monday, July 27, 2009 at her residence.

Ms. Brooks was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Ann Orenich Silas. Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Brooks of Luverne; two sisters-in-law, Janice Hawkins and Martha Green; step-daughter, Margaret Burgesses; and a nephew, Charlie D. Hawkins. A private memorial service will be held.
