Congressman Bobby Bright will be in the Second Congressional District on Monday, Aug. 3, to attend events and meet with constituents in Crenshaw County.

Bright will host a “Meet and Greet” and two “Congress on Your Corners” in order to listen and discuss local area concerns and issues.

Bright will begin his busy day in the county with a “Meet and Greet” at Petrey Town Hall from 8:30-9:30 a.m. He will then stop at First Citizens Bank in Luverne for a “Congress on Your Corner” session from 11 a.m.-11:50 a.m. Bright will also present a letter of recognition to First Citizens Bank for its recent distinction as one of the top community banks in the country.

From there, he will speak at the Luverne Rotary Club, which is held at the Luverne Country Club during its weekly meeting and luncheon, from noon to 1 p.m.

Bright will end his day in the county with another “Congress on Your Corner” at Rutledge Town Hall from 4-5 p.m.

All residents of Crenshaw County are encouraged to come out and visit with the Congressman.
