Tractor Supply Co. coming to Greenville

Tractor Supply Company is coming to Greenville.

Mayor Dexter McLendon said the nationwide retail farm and ranch store will occupy approximately 23,000 square feet of space in the former Winn Dixie building at Interstate Plaza.

“This is good news to hear, especially considering the economy the way it is,” said McLendon.

Tractor Supply Company will employ an estimated 15 people, said McLendon. He said the store should be open in September or October of this year.

Tractor Supply Co. has 16 locations currently in Alabama. The company operates over 800 stores in 40 states, according to the company website, and offers livestock supplies, agricultural equipment, animal feed, pet supplies, and more.
