Repairers of the Breach Revival Outreach Ministry:

Saturday night singing: Indian Creek Community Church will have a singing this Saturday, May 30. The Gospel Valley Boys will sing. Refreshments at 6 p.m.; singing begins at 7 p.m.

Fifth Sunday night singing: Singing at Siloam Baptist Church in Ivy Creek Community, May 31, 6 p.m. Local talent. Refreshments will be served. The Rev. Amos Grayson invites everyone to attend.

Rockwest Annual Church Anniversary Program: The Rockwest Missionary Baptist Church invites you to our Annual Church Anniversary Program on Sunday, June 7, at 1:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Marcus Sullivan, pastor of the United Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange. Ala.

BHS State Championship Dinner: The Brantley Baseball Team will have their State Championship celebration on Thursday, May 28, at 7 p.m. Price is $10 to attend and a steak dinner will be served. Anyone interested in attending must buy a ticket at BHS by noon on Tuesday, May 26. There will be no tickets sold at the door. Tickets can be purchased from Lisa Johnson at the BHS office.

Free exercise and nutrition classes: The Expanded Food Nutrition Education Program is helping you eat better and exercise to have a healthy life. Out of School Bash:

Brantley Baptist Church will hold an “Out of School Bash” on Saturday, May 30, from 4-7:30 p.m. at the church, located at 9318 North Main St. in Brantley. Games, entertainment, refreshments and lots of fun. FREE admission.

Summer Reading Program at the Luverne Public Library: Ages 3-5 will come 10-11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, June 2, 9, 16, 23; ages 6-8 will come 10-11:00 a.m. on Thursdays, June 4, 11, 18, 25; ages 9-12 will come at 1-2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 3, 10, 17, 24. “Skip the Magic Guy” will come and entertain all ages on Friday, June 5, at 11:00 a.m.

Forest landowner tour: The Crenshaw Co. Treasure Forest Chapter along with The Crenshaw Co. Forestry Planning Committee will be sponsoring a forest landowner tour to Browder Veneer Mill, 5 miles north of Petrey on old Co. Rd. 59. The tour will start at 10 a.m. on June 15, and end with lunch at 11:30 a.m. Please RSVP to the Crenshaw Co. Extension Office (335-6312) by June 11. This RSVP is for meal planning purposes only. This meeting and tour is open to any interested forest land owner.

OCAP Summer Assistance: OCAP will begin LIHEAP summer cooling on June 15. The agency has numerous customers on its waiting list from the winter season, and these customers will be served FIRST. To call and place your name on the list for summer, contact your local OCAP in Rutledge at 334-335-3910. OCAP will serve as many customers as possible while funds are available.
