The 22nd annual Crenshaw County Rodeo will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 8 and 9, this year at the Tom Harbin Ag Center on Airport Road in Luverne.

The rodeo is sanctioned by the Professional Cowboys Association and is sponsored by the Luverne Kiwanis Club. It is produced by Bo Campbell Rodeo Productions from Robertsdale, Ala.

There will be a full slate of 8 rodeo events, and each rodeo will conclude with the most thrilling sporting event of all, bull riding.

“The Luverne Kiwanis Club is a big supporter of the community and of the needs of the community,” Kiwanis Club President Russty Parrish said. “Proceeds from the annual rodeo have been used to help families with high medical bills, to help buy toys for children who might not otherwise have a Christmas, and for many other worthy causes.”

Mark your calendars now to join in on the fun May 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. each evening.
